Where can I find instructions on how to get my DC online? I've looked around these forums, but most of the topic creators seem to be at least halfway educated in getting their DC online, but I am clueless, thanx.

With your dreamcast you should have had a Browser disk, with a European Dreamcast this disk is called Dreamkey, in a North American dreamcast it is called a Planet web browser, with a japanese dreamcast it is called a Dreampassport.
If you dont have a browser disc/dreamkey/dreampassport you need to contact sega who will be able to tell you haow to get one.
So youve got your ddisc, what now?
You need a current ISP account, most ISPs work with the exception of AOL.
From this account you need
Your Login name
Your Password
Your Dial up number
DNS numbers ( not always required)
POP mail password etc ( only if your using your DC for e-mail)
If you have a European Dreamcast and you live in sega europea area and your Dreamkey browser is below Dreamkey ver3 you need to contact sega on (UK number)08456 090 090
Load up your browser disk, and find the options section With Planet web (PW) you need to press start to bring up the optioins panel , with Dreamkey (DK) and Dreampassport (DP) you need can select set up from the start menu
Find the options for ISP set up and enter in the croect areas
Your ISP log in name
Your Password
Your dial up number
You can leave DNS numbers at 0 (zero) and on DK select automatic DNS
As for e-mail leave it blank unless you want to usew your DC for e-mailing.
Easy.
