Contest Feedback

I'd like to thank everyone that participated and the people that helped pull it together. I hope everyone had fun running through the maze. A lot of work went into researching the maze and linking up everything.

Anyways, I was hoping to get some feedback on the contest in case psow decides to hold another FKL contest. If you have something you would like to say, you can either PM me or reply in this thread.

But then seriously. Had I been here when it started, I might've had a chance at winning or something, but I did have fun just doing the little bit of the maze that I did.

I think it would've been more annoying fun if there had been more dead ends. I only went down the wrong path once or twice at the beginning. But overall, cool stuff.

Yeah, when I kept seeing fragments of words used as links ("gh" etc) I thought, "Hey, maybe it spells something", but I was too lazy to check. Cool idea for the future, though.

Tact uses it a lot. Just search for his "Welcome Back to Hell" post in the FKL using the search, and change the link from .txt back to .jpg. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Shattered: I was having trouble with that, too, 'cause all the posts I found with the one Tact posted had broken images. It took a while, but I did find one elsewhere. Or you could've done what Zel said. :g

The Cherry Coke theme makes finding links etremely easy since instead of underlining links, it changes them to red. I'm not sure of how many other themes are that way, but I remember there were others that would change color instead of underline.

Also, just for the curious and the late comers, is there a list of all the edited topics? It would be interesting to see which ones were and how so.

I gave up, actually, but it would have been nice to avoid some of the more image-laden threads(Especially ones where they still work!) for the maze. ah yes I realize that the welcome sign was pretty tough since nearly 90% of them were broken.
