If they do make a new PSO disc, will you buy it or just stay with the old one? If they did, I would stay with the old one. To me, the SMALL glitch doesn't sound like much of a problem, so why bixch over it? I'll tell you this though; if they delay the U.S. version again, I'm importing.

I haven't imported, but if I had, I'd go with the domestic side, updated server.
Just one of those things where I'd have to cut my losses and enjoy the fun I had. =)

I don't have a choice in the matter but get the re-made one.
i would go to the remade one if i dont have to start over. If barubary makes a code to let us use our old char on the new version i would seriously consider using it.

Yes. It would boost X-ploder GC sales. And if there isn't an X-ploder for the GameCube it would be incentive to produce one.

And why are you such a hothead? Sonic Team wouldn't care about this. They already know that the DC/PC protocol encryption has been cracked, and they changed it in the GC version.
Why does everyone assume that there is some sinister purpose to my creation of a PSO server? It'll be the one place where you *can't* cheat. What's the difference between my project and bnetd?

Um... where did that come from? In both cases some little punk reverse-engineered software to make a game server. There is no difference. I hope the outcomes are the same though.

Rethinking what I said, I'm going to be optomistic about the U.S. release. If the bug hasn't already been taken care of, Sonic Team still has a little over a month to do so, right? Hopefully it'll still be out on the set date.....I pray for no more delays....

I HATE hacking in online games. However, I LOVE the idea of a seperate server for people who dont HATE hacking in online games as much as me. BNetD is one of the greatest things for online gaming, simpley because its easier and more fun for everyone.
