Thats just typical. A PS game is so far down on the ranking. Im officially anti-Famitsu now. They need to get with it. Not everything is about Nintendo, Square, & Capcom in the industry. Theres room for flexibility here.

On a MUCH brighter note...
MOTHER 3 is at Number 3!!!!
I'm a HUGE Earthbound fan, so Mother 3/Earthbound 2 is at #1 on my list.

And uhh.. Final Fantasy is at #1? Whats Final Fantasy, again? ..although, I have to admit I AM looking forward to FF7: Dirge of Cerebrus. But, we're talking about two totally different types of games.

Dirge of Cerberus sucked LOL. Not many people liked it at all. And if you feel sad I'm with you, I was looking forward to it as well...but not anymore. Especially since a certain japanese pop singer gackt/and a lame plot twist all in one blow happens in the game. >_<

Actually, its listed as 19...out of 20. Kinda sad really. Remember, this is a list from a Japanese company & just proof that PS does better in the US than anywhere else. Meanwhile, it was created in Japan. Go figure.

That's a terrible reason to hate a publication, especially when the position a game receives on this list is generated by the readers of the magazine, not the editors and writers. If anything, direct your distaste toward the readers.

Nope. Cant do that. Wouldnt make sense. Why? Well, Famitsu is a Japanese mag & youre suggesting I have a problem with a mass public of Japan who Idk which ppl actually like PS or not. Its ultimately the responsibility of the mag for what is printed & therein, lies with Famitsu, hence my attention towards them. I will say this. Yes, I do like FF but its not my fave series. Its good to see that the #1 game chosen was an RPG. Id be mad (but not surprised) if it wasnt.

Famitsu gave PSU a Famitsu Choice since it's very first unveiling, and have given the game loads of coverage. Much more than PSO.

I also see that DQ was listed low. That list is clearly BS as Dragon Quest has always been the #1 RPG series in Japan. Famitsu really needs to get their act together & poll all of Japan, not a few select readers. Maybe then, it will be a tad more realistic.

Some of these games are just too popular arnt they? XD Looks like EarthBound returns from the 90's and coming back strong at number three spot. I just hope they redo the art: the clay figures are just...too old to me.

Making top 20 out of the hundreds of games that are slated for release isn't bad at all. Logically offline games are more popular because not everyone has a internet connection. Even tho psu has an offline game I think it will still be seen as an online game by most.

Dragon Quest was voted as 18, 1 notch above PS & even I know that DQ is the most popular RPG series in Japan. It has been since its 1st game. As far as I know, this new DQ game is offline so its not about online or offline. That list is just plain bogus.
