And made a wacko emblem today. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Random facts!

The last time I played this game before I bought it, was like a year and a half ago when I rented it from the library. ._.

I bought it brand new, $15.

So like $1,200 Canadian or something. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I wish I bought Shenmue 2 for $20 brand new at that CompUsa, even though I bought it already for $9 used at Gamecrazy, with no movie DVD inside.

I forgot about the movie DVD being missing.

So I have to play through everytime the first I wanna reminisce about the first story.

Oh, we weren't supposed to talk about something we did or didn't buy then trail off into no-man's land?

Gimme a memo next time, por pavor.

STOP THE PRESSES!

You rented a game, from the library?

Man, you must be the one from Canada TOH!

I only borrowed a LOTR #1 to watch the special features of said movie from za librarys. Also Titan AE, which didn't work.

Isn't F-Zero GX really old? Still good, though.

The whole library is old TACT, considering those books and things have already been made.

So yeah, old.

Yeah, the Allen County Public Library in Indiana let's you rent games.

Best part is:

They have games for NES, Snes, N64, Dreamcast, Playstation 1 and 2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC, and many more. :3

You get to keep them from 2-3 weeks (I think it might have been two.) But there's also a long waiting list for many more popular games.

However, I no longer live in Indiana, so I am unable to rent games from the library.

Sounds awesome. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Could you abuse the system by well, borrowing said game then checking it in after the two weeks, then recheck it out?

Could you take out more than one at a time?

Why didn't you check out a buncha games and then move? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

They won't send a bill(its the library), TOH shouldn't tell them his new address, and well its an idea. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Does that exist often in FKL?

Regular old deduction of good and bad in ideas? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

F-Zero GX is one of my favourite games ever.

I beat 90% of the Staff Ghosts >_> (I don't use snaking)

Too bad I play the PAL version, or I would have sent you my ghosts and replays http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Ask me anything you need to know http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_yes.gif

F-Zero GX owns, Ive had it ages, but only recently picked it back up.

Starting to learn all the advanced techniques like shift boosting, snaking, momentum thrust >_>

It's a pain if you like playing a light ship, you can't do most of the techniques in them...

The custom ship names can be really wierd too, mine is 'Windy Squid-88' http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Edit: Oh, try and find Muumu's videos on the net if you can, makes me sick watching them XD

I've been trying to glide the first jump in Big Blue Ordeal for a week now, only made it once http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

This one time, when I was like, 10. A store that rented out game closed down a few days after I rented a couple of games, and I therefore just kept them.

Since I can remember, the location of said store has had 3 owners, all going out of business within 2 years.

Red Dragon!(I miss thee), Boardwalk!, random name I can't remember! and the current name I don't even know!

There, a bit of history of my community. Don't say I never taught you nothing.

F-Zero GX, I usually call it the "ass-kicker". Game's hard man! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

I really despise snakers in that game -_-;

Too bad I cannot make videos.

Find a F-Zero AX arcade machine if you can, the AX parts are worth it. Not to mention unlocking the AX pilots a lot more easily.

Kef, I played the Deluxe AX machine in London, it's awesome- the seat tilted and everything http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Shame it was on a college trip, and I forgot my GC memory card. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

And yeah, snaking is really game-breaking, so much that for max speed ladders, I dont think you're allowed to do it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif The thing is, all snaking is is using the physics of the game- swinging a heavy ship around builds up the momentum. Blowing away A grade boost ships in Black Bull is so wrong though.

People were gathering around to see me play http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif good times http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Now you all made me feel like playing it again -_-;

Despite SEGA and Nintendo asserting that snaking isn't a glitch, but was designed on purpose, it is forbidden in official contests =/

1. Yes. But only if someone else wasn't on the waiting list.

2. Yes.

I have no idea what snaking is or any of the other stuff you guys are talking about. I just race.

Also, I should go find an F-Zero AX machine. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Edit* The closet F-Zero AX machine is in Toronto, Canada. So, probably when I visit PJ I'll swing by the arcade. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Wal-Mart here often overstocks on popular games. This leads them to having drastic price reductions within a couple months of release. I purchased F-Zero GX for $9.95 in the bargain bin. Got Perfect Dark at another store around here for $9.95 as well.
