Sega announces US release date finally!

Says it will be out in October 2002 instead of Fall 2002, which they've had for ages. Guess this means it's official, right?

took them long enough to say a specific month... but its nothing new, a lot of pople have been saying october for a while, i guess this just makes it absolute.... i just hope its earlier than the 29th

My main concern though is this. Naka said that it would take two months to fix the bugs and have the append discs distributed, correct? If PSO is released in October, would that mean we'd get the fixed version or the buggy version?

Xbox release date in Japan in January 16th, no U.S. date yet, all we can do is guess. Probably Febuary or March sometime, but that's just my best guess. Although I did read an article on Gamepro.com (as reliable as they are http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif ) that said both the US and Jap versions where ready to go, it's just up to M$ to release them. Well Microsoft has been giving us first dibs on every major Xbox game so i'm banking on a January release.

So this means no 2 month delay previous thought for the Duping bug? That would be tre shway if they got them fixed or whatever. The only way to know of the release date for sure will be the day that the game actually comes out.

if the game is done I don't see why it couldn't release for xbox before the JP version, the only reason it's waiting for january in japan is because they're waiting for xbox live to start up, it's starting up here in november though. I'd see it going either way.

I remember a long time ago I saw pictures of what was suppose to be in it.. Ya know, before Eps 2 and stuff.. And there was a picture of a HUnewm, really buffed up ape lookin' Newman, perhaps that's one of them.. also they had pictures of some freaky duck lucking thing..that could be the other, but these are only assumptions. . .
