ATP 999?

Hey everyone, I have a question about ATP. When your ATP shows 999, does it really max at 999? Or maybe in reality it is 1200 but it just shows three digits?

I am wondering because as a HUcast, my ATP is getting very high, sometimes at 999. I still notice a difference in damage when I use several weapons, all of which show at 999. Am I just on crack?

From my experience, damage does not stop at 999. My own ATP is at or near that right now, and when I cast Shifta, my attacks do significantly more damage - on the order of 100 points or so.

It might just be changing cause yer using a weapon with a different photon bonus vs the moonster yer fighting. (YES! I DID mean to spell it that way!)

Yes, the photon adjustment does make a difference past 999. But as for shifta, maybe that alters the Photon affinity thingy also? if 999 is really the be-all end-all top strength, and shifta is making you damage more, that's the only explaination I could offer. ^^;
