There have been no official reports of PSO coming to the DS. However, there are some Photoshopped pictures floating around.

PSO would never work for the DS, the DS is basically a portable Nintendo 64. And PSO would have to be drastically downgraded, maybe even take some elements out (the 3 new races, and episode 2), and/or downgrade the quality of the graphics and the music, for it to even be a feasable possibility. Plus the screen is way too small for a game like PSO, which is a game that requires you to be able to see what's happeneing on the screen, to be able to avoid danger. If you don't believe me, try hooking your gamecube up to a 3 inch screen tv, and tell me if you can read anything, or play it successfully.

I don't want the same reharsh game that appears on cube and PC on my DS, if they made a new then sure but I rather play my cube or BB verison.

There is never going to be a version of PSO on the DS. Besides silly rumors spreading around the internet, there is no solid proof whatsoever, from Sonic Team, or even from legitimate news sources. I don't see the appeal of a portable PSO. The idea of starting my PSO career over on a more cramped system just annoys me.

That being said, I still <3 my DS. But PSO as we know it will never exist on the DS.

be sides think about what the capabillitys are every 1 should have different ideas mine are > the touch screen will have the main menu + satics BUTTONS> A=Normal attack Y=Heavy attack B=What ever you usally put i use the speacial attack X=Map
R=switches the bar at the bottom right hand corner
L=changes camrea angle..see there are good ideas that could be possible

I have every system thats out there now except x-box and the 360 (nothing against them just ran low on funds and the 360 is so freakin hard to get ahold of) . but my loyalties will always be to nintendo and my pc. as long as sonic team keeps making Phantasy star for either system i'll be one happy camper. *Zaps Gobooma with level 30 Zonde*

PSO for the DS (if they did do it, which I doubt), it would be, in a way, cool, for one main reason;
Portability.

Got a two hour busride to go listen to some guy try to make you think he knows what he's talking about? Followed by five hours of said guy, then a two hour busride back? I can read a book in that amount of time. So? Just whip out yer DS, chuck in PSDS (harhar, it rymes... erm...), and rock out with... you know.

Just use the nice WLAN, and if where you are listening to the guy blab has Wi-Fi, party up with yer 'mates who aren't stuck in an auditorium.

For PSO to work on a portable, you'd need the unholy bastard child of a PSP and DS. Hmm. Control would be a little wonky if you tried to incorporate the touch screen. Really, it'd probably be best on a PDA. But man, it would HAVE to have voice chat. With the ability to mute.

Your logic is flawed.

Resident Evil is a much, much older game than PSO. It's from the early PlayStation-era, and is a much less technically complicated game than PSO. It uses pre-rendered backgrounds, for instance.

PSO for DS is nothing more than a rumor. Sonic Team is not making one, nor are they going to make one.

Pso also would not look good on the DS because I don't think the Ds has the power to render all that is needed especially if you play CCA and Seabed.
