New Character for XBOX PSO...true???

I just read Yuji Naka's interview and not once did he speak of there being a new character for the xbox port of e1&e2. He did say, however, that the game is FINISHED,and the big M$ has it. But my thing is, if they do add a new character, they only have two options, the HUmarl, and the HUnewmn. The other two classes are filled unless Sonic Team says screw it and adds the RAnewearl and the RAnewmn. Maybe it could be some completely random new character of a new race or class or something? I don't know.. just throwing out ideas (which I'm sure have already been thrown out before but still...)

I don't think there's a new character no. I still think having downloadable content/patches will make it the best version though.

hey hey, don't forget out Trap happy android class, FOcast. That's what he'd have. 10 of each trap at the start of the game and each trap gets an extra two at a lvl up. good good?

well the new char for xbox thing wasn't true, it was a rumour...so i don't expect it to be in the final release...although in GS interview, we could see it in terms of download...GCN version will get a new stage and new chars ready to download, I think...but as for Xbox, it will be what GCN is getting...nothing extra beside the voice chat...

I'm fairly sure that ST put in hooks for downloadable patches and whatnot. I dont expect all kinds of new crap, but it saves them money not to deal with bugs the way they have to in the dc/GC versions.

Hey....who REALLY knows for sure. NO-ONE does. Any information on the XboX version of this game is virtually non-existent. I've looked high and low for solid info and can't find it anywhere. I live half an hour away from the NorthAmerican XboX office and have contacts there. Two of my XboX customers are Live Beta testers...another is a programmer...and THEY'VE heard nothing either.

It's like pulling teeth. Where the hell IS the info?

Um Gamecube will have CharactersLevels "Ready to Download"? I think you may be confused... As I don't think any level would fit on an 8 megabyte (Mem Card 251) memory card... It was announced at TGS...a new stage and some new chars planned for GCN in the future, and also that cool PSO card battle thingy...don't forget DC's VMU is small too, and yet it can fit some quests per VMU....Yeah Xbox's HDD is great...sure ST will make use of it, but right now ST only saying details for GCN...I never said XBOX won't be getting it, but I just say ST just saying about GCN version at the moment...Xbox info is so tight lipped...but I am sure Xbox will get those too...I hope

Oh that announcment... Yeah that stuff is already on the disc... no downloading required... It will just be unlocked at a certain date.

exactly. For the DC and GC everything has to already be on the disc, which makes the 'downloading' more of a gimmick than anything else. Quests in PSO could be downloaded because all they really needed to contain was some basic text and the layouts of the levels, the graphics and rewards were always already in the game.
