So I heard the X-Box modem was coming out in November. Th official release date for PSO Ep 1&2 is OCt 31. Still no confirmed release date of GC modem. Will this change your minds about purchasing or playing PSO Ep 1&2? If the GC modem is not released until December, will you still purchase and play the game?

xbox doesn't have a modem. It has a network adaptor, which is built into the console. Only thing that comes out in november is a little disc and headset with an account number that lets you play online.

Well yes, what it all means, simply put is that X-Box will have online access and Game Cube will not...

They have not given a release date. Sega is dancing around it in hopes that we purchase the game expecting the modem to be ready. I spoke to a few reliable sources, game retailers that have no idea or word from Game Cube for a release or expected release date for the modem. Honest game retailers know what is expected to be available for stock months in advance. In rare cases, companies rush a product on the market. X-Box has a release date for November for their modem. The retailers I spoke to said no info about a set date. We can only speculate...

Gamecube modem and network adapter (i.e. broad band adapter) are scheduled to release on October 29, along side of PSO.

x-box has an ethernet card (i.e. broad band adapter) already built into the system. They have no plans of releasing a 56k modem.
