View Full Version : Why do you believe players cheat on PSO?

Why do you beleive players cheat on PSO? Cast your vote above and comment. Perhaps if Sega made the s-rares obtainable through missions and group quests, players would have more of a reason to find them legit. Most of the ss-rares can only be found by blind super luck, not skill. If the players could earn the weapons through determination, perhaps the rate of hackers would drop. The question is: Why are there more hackers on some games, than there are others?

None of the above. Some, if not most, cheat simply because they want to.

There's no penalty for cheating within the game's limits, so some people don't see any reason not to cheat when it gets them the goodies. =>_<=;;;

Because of what snapple said. And maybe for some because of glitches in ST's game. I lost some items to several FSOD that I had to "find" again.

I believe everybody lost something good on PSO at one time or other... I just hope that the GC version will at least eliminate nolers and peakers.

1.They cheat because they are just pathetic in the game.
2. They are limited time to find rares (V2 pay2play) and have to get them that way.
3. They beat the game and so they wanna try something new.
4. They do it to annoy people.
5. They want to be the first to do something.
6. They want to either "help" or "Hurt" other players. >_>'''

Where I think the biggest reasonings being 4 and 6.
A good example is how "harmless" codes became FSOD/LSOD and VK/NOL.

That's it ... Unfortunately this is how a good part of the "future generation" of the U.S. society develop their sense of morals.

In the end we got nearly everyone cheating for "self defense" ... In a game I was playing some days ago at Europa ship, block 2 ... An user of hacked weps joined in and started using a hacked needle ... Wonder you what was my surprise when one of the japanese players pulled another hacked needle ...
For me what left was getting angry and go lobby ... That sucked.

It is stupidity and laziness to not want to play 500-1000 HOURS just to find 2 or 3 rare items you like?

Good lord, imho it is STUPID to play a game mindlessly and endlessly killing the exact same monsters 50000000000 times just to find 47 million DB sabers and 28 million Varistas.

Watch the percentages even when you tek those little guys. You'll be fucking happy one day, my friend! A 40% DB saber works better than a 0% Durandal.

That's nice. But a 40% DB saber isn't worth jack squat compared to a Yamarigichu (sp?) or a Double Lavis. =)
