PC and PS2 Interlinking?

Ok i know the answer probably but I thought theres no harm in checking, will the versions interlink so i can see people playing on ps2 version while im playing pc version?

Just wondered as me and my freinds are playing different versions ><

It has been stated in the past that PS2 and PC owners will be playing on the same set of servers in Japan. That means that you should be able to play with your friends. However, there has been no mention of region interoperability yet (ie: Japan and US).
