One of the screws in my glasses came out, disabling my sight somewhat. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Anyone got a one of those glasses repair kit things?

My glasses broke too.

I found a repair kit. But then realized that they make glasses screws so small that they are nearly impossible to fix yourself. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

Especially with your sight impaired already by not being able to wear your glasses while you fix them... >_>

Exactly my point. They're fixed now, and I can see again!

Not sure if they're called Jeweler's, but they were in one of those eyeglass repair kits that you find at supermarkets and drug stores for $2.

Ah, I've seen those. I'm guessing, based on your...ahem...experience ( http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif ), that they work well?

And of course in order for this to work you need to be able to see enough to be able to tell what you're doing (so a farsighted person won't have nearly as much luck as I did).

I should probably get one of the kits to put in my car, shouldn't I?

The last pair of glasses that broke of mine were crushed by a chemistry book. Case in point that books are bad for your sight.

It would not be good if that happened in the car...and you posted from the driver's seat. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

If you have to question whether to use a http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif or not, don't.
