In about a half hour I'm going to begin my traditional Lord of the Rings marathon. Basically, I watch the Extended editions of all 3 movies as quickly as possible. It only takes 12 hours http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif.

Yes, I'm insane http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif. Wish me luck.

It could work if...

...the person was an extremely hardcore LotR fan, such that said person would actually gain (rather than lose) energy and momentum by watching the LotR extended trilogy. This would give the person enough energy to be able to sit through not just Reloaded's terrible dialogue, but also Rev-... ah, who the fuck am I kidding, Revolutions could kill a full-grown grizzly bear in fucking heat from 1000 yds away w/ it's complete and total suckage.

I must be a super-human, as I not only watched the Matrix Triology, but also watched it with both Philosopher and Flim Critic commentaries in one night.

Well, that's nice and all, but I think the challenge was to watch the extended LotR trilogy AND the Matrix Trilogy in one sitting.

The Matrix Reloaded x 3, The Matrix Revolutions x 3.

Yup, those are the best Lord of the Rings movies, after all.

Oh man, I'm tired. I finished Return of the King at about 10:30 this morning, then I went to bed and slept for and hour and a half. O.o

I'm looking forward to doing it again over the summer http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif.
