View Full Version : PSO bad experience. A Hunter's Story...

There are some real PSO haters out there! I belonged to a clan that was originaly built from PSO fans, only to later die down as a result of new members that despised the game. I was a one man army spreading the news of PSO and encouraging others to join a team of PSO players. In time other clan members got together and began meeting online PSO. My hard work did not go unnoticed. I was later premoted and given a forum for PSO... That's when all hell broke lose! Different clan members came to attack the forum with slander and hate remarks. It felt like a race riot! We held the fort down strong, until they went to the commander, me. They organized thier efforts to overthrow me. They used the excuse that PSO was a waste of time and was bringing the clans expectations down. I honestly believe that they were threatned by the game, for it was the ONLY idea that was bringing so much attention to the clan. They fought me and fought me hard, until I decided to leave. I loved that clan with my entire heart, I simply had no power to stucture it. I left the clan strong and wiser and, started my own... I have a personal love for PSO and have opened the doors for all those who stand in support of the game. When you hear me talk hard about PSO, it's only because I know it's a crule world out there that hates the game. I had to debate, argue and even get dirty with members that would have rather seen me dead, than alive talking about PSO. I am still here and pressing forward! I would like to see you all, everyone one of you, on PSO GC, X-BOX and even DC versions. Continue to play and to spread the news about PSO, I know that our new clan will once it grows. This is a Hunter's Story... The End... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

PSO is an awesome game. Unfortunately, I lost more than half of my online buds when SEGA started charging to play. I believe this new, higher, $9 a month rate will drive even more players away... So while the community continues to dwindle on GC I am hoping MS does it right on Xbox Live :/

lol. the ONLY REASON PSO IS A GOOD GAME IS BECAUSE OF IT's ONLINE ABILITY. I think this game would suck hard ass if it was just Phantasy Star OFFLINE

-Great community game though...prolly my fav online game yet...after CS...but definitly best community game.

What?? I dont exactly have a problem with paying for this.....but isn't 9 dollars a month kinda ridiculous? I never thought the 15 a month was a problem(It usually came to like 11). But some people thought that was too much..
..Blast, my parents might not pay for this one.

Uhm you mean 15("coming out to like 11")/3 months.

I paid 20 for 3 months by Psoexplorer. That was pretty steep. Now 9 a month. Very steep, yet people will have to pay it to play online(or find a way to steal their way online like bastards).

9/mth x 12mths=108 a year X_x + 50 for the game, 35 modem, 150 GC, 60? keyboard, 10-20 for mem card.

Like 423 dollars. Ouch.
I own zero of that list this second.
With no money for any of it yay!

Some people are telling me that the $9 a month price that Gamestop announced that SEGA announced is not official. So I guess we really won't know till it comes out :/ I'm hoping SEGA makes the smart decision to keep it at $15 for 3 months (Like it was on DC).

Hehe,9 bucks a month.That's a good one.I need some hard evidence if im going to even think twice about believing that one.Doesn't the people who imported get to chosse the 3 month plan?Why would SEGA only let people in Japan use that plan and not us?I just don't believe that info at all.

One time I was fighting Hard Dark Falz, I had a Double Sabre grinded to the max. It was my favorite weapon, but than my main man Falz struck me dead. A Ramar named SSJGojita stole my double sabre and took off wicked fast. I was pissed, I wanted to put him in a wheel chair, I later calmed down, now I would settle for hitting him in the face until he bled...profusely.

People say I take this game too seriously, but let me tell you this. That Double Sabre was like a son to me.

@animalmother
you got his guildcard? stalk him or learn how to pk ^_^; or forget about that double saber

@topic of tread
9$/month is very much imho (i'm curious what europeans have to pay this time... -_-;). in worst case scenario i could live with that too, i think, but it would be really hard each month...

Alot of people dislike PSO after playing it for some time. Why they would go through such trouble to bring it down is beyond me. The game is pretty basic, but it's about playing with people.

Also this $9 thing a month must be a mistake. Most full blown MMORPGs cost a good 10 bucks to play a month, that includes servers the house 1000s of people at a time on numerous server, and constant upgrades with new content. Unless ST plans on having us download new weapons, items, armors, and a new stage, 9 bucks a month is a utter rip off for a MORPG.

15 bucks for 3 months, just like for ver2 is what it will be.

That is why I hate hacking. I love the joy of earning your favorite weapons through hard work. But Sega makes it so hard to EARN rares, but rather you find ss weapons through blind luck (or very powerful forms of meditation). Hackers make the game cheap, used, prostituted...
