The current rumour is that PSU is not coming to 360, sadly.

Uhh... doesn't that article lean in favor of PSU on Xbox 360?

If the "planners" are openly discussing PSU, that would seem to indicate that it might be there. We'll have to wait until April 6th.

If they do i can't see them doing anything to it but a straight port but it would be nice to see a 360 of PSU with the power of the 360 compared to the PS2.

the thing is though it would take even longer for the games release if they were to amp up the graphics to 360 level so me personally am hoping for that no to happen

It will most likely be a port of the PC version displayed at a high-level graphics setting, I imagine. Also, if it were to come to Xbox 360 it would be required to support HD.

Gameplay will probably be identical, considering how soon after the PS2 and PC versions its assumed announcement and release will be.

I would also assume that the 360 would share the same servers. I guess it would be good (more players), but I have always felt that the PS2 and PC should be on different servers.

We already reported about this Xbox press event in Tokyo on April 6, but today some rumors are circulating about what we can expect from the briefing. From spong.com:

Source is Spong -- don't even bother reading it. They've never posetd anything even remotely true.

And just why is that? It's not PC/PS2 fanboyism is it?

Well doesn't xbox live have its own servers cause PSO for xbox was only for xbox and gamecube for gamecube and pc for pc but pc was PSOBB i understand that but how could they have someone from the PS2 servers play with someone on xbox live i mean im just not getting it here as much as i want all the systems to be able to play together.

by the way it says in the quote that they mooted the game which means that they are discussing it so it doesn't lean toward anyside, xbox stands neutral right now.

It's possible for the Xbox 360 version to play on the same servers as PC and PS2, the obvious example being Final Fantasy XI for those three platforms sharing the same servers. All points that have been brought up repeatedly in the past.

The fact it's even being brought up at all leans in favor of it. Silence or a flat-out "no" would be to the contrary.

There haven't been any news reports of PSU for the 360 so far. So, I think it would be safe to say that PSU isn't coming out for that system at this point in time.

I think that was safe to say the whole time. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Xbox 360 is getting FFXI soon (God bless all of you who are brave enough to start the game 3 years behind^^;;) so Sega probably knows the market for PSU on Microsoft's new beast may be wishy-washy. Sure the game would sell on 360 but who enough games sell to warrant profit? I'll admit this, PSU running on 720p (1080i for those who have cash growing on trees) would be gorgeous.

I like money trees. It's a shame I don't have PS2 or Xbox 360. 'Cuz I really wanted to try PSU on my new TV. Oh well, I'll have to settle for my good 'ol comp 4 now.
