This test is flawed. There are many duplicates of the same types of questions:

Feelings versus Logic
Submissive versus dominant in social situations.
Improvisation/experience versus Planning/known theories.
Obligation and responsability.

But, hey, it works.

Abother thing about this test is that they require you to answer truthfully. The results may not be accurate if a person subconsciously chooses incorrect answers by either overthinking, or not thinking about it enough. I had to go over a couple of them because they just didn't seem right.

For example, I do well socially, but I don't seek it out. The subtle differences in those types of questions were slightly overlooked by me, as I originally had answered many of them in a way that made me seem as though I not only didn't seek out social activities, but prefered to stay quiet during activities I would currently be a part of. That just isn't true, I was more energetic and active during, say, school in attempts to just have fun.

I'm not saying those who took the test answered incorrectly,untruthfully, or inaccurately, but just stating that it's a possability.

Although, I do find this really interesting. Thanks, FO, for sharing it with us.

Skorp, you're absolutely correct about the ultimate inaccuracy--and uselessness--of these tests, but they can be fun.
I am with you on the social seeking vs competence/enjoyment thing. I don't like to go to parties (except gatherings with long-time friends) and refrain from making "extra" social contact. However, when I am in a situation I enjoy I can be quite extravagant and loud (at least by my standards). But I suppose this could be said of anyone.

*as long as it isn't an INTJ-exclusive thing. Further reflection has led me to realize that my typical result for these tests is actually INTP, but it certainly varies depending on when I take them. So I'll be an INTP/INTJ/ISTJ. Wewhew?

Just wanted to add that this:

ENFPs have what some call a "silly switch." They can be intellectual, serious, all business for a while, but whenever they get the chance, they flip that switch and become CAPTAIN WILDCHILD, the scourge of the swimming pool, ticklers par excellence. Som etimes they may even appear intoxicated when the "switch" is flipped.

Is so on point on me that its scary. These quizzes aren't 100% accurate but they can be pretty darn close. If you just look at the questions and answer what first comes to me, then you'll get something that is close to you. Thats what I do at least and most of the time I get a good reponse back. Also, taking the quiz mutiple times and seeing if you get the same reponse also tells you about the accuracy of the test or your answers. One of the tests I've taken even said that you SHOULD take it mutiple times and the more times you take it and the more times you get the same answer over and over tells you what you really are.
