the sun is the first thing that came to my mind too, but its something else.
You can't really squeeze the sun, nor does it turn pancakes brown, cooking them does that.

bright lights will make your eyes water, especially when moving from a dark area to a lighter are (inside to outside)

when its hot out, guys drink and then have to go pee

excessive heat can friz a woman's hair, so they have to comb it

messed up tans on celebrities (if you ever watch red carpet show, you'll know what I'm talking about. Even with the orange spray tan.)

yet everyone elses tan seems to be normal

you can cook a pancake on a blacktop, as well as an egg (i have actually done this)
