About PSU Closed Beta

I just heard of it and registed a Sega link account about an hour ago. Is it still possible that I might get one of the beta accounts, or is it hopeless? Also, is registering a Sega Link account all I had to do?

That's why I was warning ppl to apply on the 16th. It's last minute, but, you can just make it in. After then...well...sadly, you get left out. Hopefully at least ONE person from PSOW makes it into beta (tho it would be nice if it were a few).

lol yeah I've been watching kingdom hearts 2 movies 5 months before it came out, almost everyday, and I got it on the first day it came out. That'll probably happen with PSU, if we get a release date someday( hopefully at E3)

Do any of yous guys know when they'll be sending the e-mails telling you if you got in or not.
I didn't sign up for it cause I didn't feel like going through all that japanese mess but I'm hoping to leech some info off of yous that did get in. Anything on how the systems REALLY work and answers to all these questions that have been brought up would be great.

Well I would guess that the latest SOJ will send emails out to the people who got through would be friday. That is only a guess though. For all I know they might send them out today.

I sincerely hope that the people from PSOW who are doing the PSU Closed Beta are doing it so they can actually help improve the game, not so that "lol i can play psu first!!1".

Closed Betas are for testing the game out. I hope that all the PSOWers who signed up have intentions of helping to make the game better.

If I get in, I would finally know if PSU works roughly or not on my computer... So I could know if I have to update my comp or not. This is my primary aim I guess.

Congrats to all that do get to participate in the beta.
It reminds me of when I apha tested for a new webgame for my second favorite site (gaiaonline).
Just be sure to take plenty of screenshots, expectially of the glitches you DO find,
It'd be nice to catagorize them or have a reference of them.

It's 10,000 people. They chose 2,000 yesterday(It's 4am in japan as I post this), so I'm assuming they'll choose 4000 later today. then 4000 on thursday. after that they'll open the servers for a while to see how it goes.

The official Phantasy Star Universe webpage announced details for a closed beta that will take place for the Japanese PC version of the game. Starting today, you will be able to submit your application to participate in this beta. The beta registration period will run through April 17th. After the registration period ends, 10,000 people will be selected to participate.

We might as well do Sega's work in translations to make the production much faster $.$ I want to see the game in action myself but im stuck here in the middle of hell and I need an angle just to save me. XD I just wounder if the game will com out faster than expected or released will take longer. I guest it depends on the new co. that making PSU. (you would notice on IGN that they have a new CO. on the side, or one I never seen before)
