PSOX-US: Watch out for Lycoris

There is a Hunewearl on PSOX named Lycoris that has the strange ability to lock people into the game. Thus making them unable to use items or open any menus. Including the quit game menu. The only way to undo this effect is to either go through a teleport or just cut your game off. You can still fight monsters you just wont be able to see your health, type, or open menus.

I got trapped by her yesterday. There was people talking about her today. At least 6 other people have gotten trapped by her.

She got me in dav 10, she is a legit player but she locks you into a game by exploiting a glitch with the telepipe.
she was level 4 when I last saw her.

I find it ironic that a PC named after a character in the .hack games makes it so that people can not log out.

Well if you think about it this is the closest you can get to a .hack game expect for the VR thing.

If you ever see Lycoris in a game on psox dont go through her telepipe. She might trap you in a room with no escape and glitch your menu so you cannot open it. You could potentially be stranded for hours.

I saw her last night, she was lvl 5. I heard that she trapped 3 more people, 2 of them managed to escape quickly, 1 of them had to wait a long time for someone to join the game to free them.

The best thing to do if you get trapped is to wait patiently for someone to join the game then tell them to unlock the door for you. Then get them to make a telepipe and then you go through the pipe to undo the effects of the glitch. DO NOT unplug your internet cable, the message that tells you that you disconnected and press start to save will not appear because all your menus are glitched. If you unplug the cable you become completely screwed.
