Why is this a bad move? Sounds like you're just biased against Microsoft/XBox 360.

If anything, this is GREAT news as it'll allow more players to play the game together. PSO always suffered from not reaching it's full potential due to lack of players.. SEGA placing PSU on PC, PS2 and XBox 360 may finally end that plague.

And I think it's smething great, I don't have money to spend on a new PC, so I'll buy a 360 (was already planning to buy one anyway) cause its alot cheaper, and it will give alot better graphics for the money you spend on it.

Doh. >_< sorry. It's not that I hate microsoft, but after all the problems with the Xbox PSO, I a bit wary of it being on the 360. Still, maybe this time Sega will do a good job preventing cheating.

cheating is history since offline/online is seperated and there will be server side saving, so no problem at all.

Xbox on PSO sucked because it was on an enclosed server, PSU on 360 will be run on Sonic Team's servers so you have nothing to worry about.

If you mean shared servers, then I see no reason not to.
Unlike the original xbox, the xbox 360's Live allows other game companies manage their own servers.
If you read back on the Force10 article, they mentioned psu would be using the same brand of servers as another xbox 360 title (chromehounds), before the PSU-for-360 was a reality, and with FFXI already being an interconnected MMO as an example,
it would be redundant not to.

Why is everyone suddenly so ignorant about PSO. Why does everyone suddenly point the finger at the xbox when it comes to cheating.

From and UN-biased viewpoint (having owned and played Xbox, PC, GC, DC versions), the Dreamcast, PC and Gamecube versions all had cheating. I dont know why people suddenly have such selective memories.

If there is going to be cheating on the Xbox, there WILL be cheating on every other system. People seem to be so biased on these forums..
