Help Configuring Gamepad

I want to use a GC controller for PSU, but I get this message when I try to confirm my settings:

This is what I use as my setup:

Confirm, Talk, Investigate, Pick Up Item=A button
Cancel, Bring Up Action Pallet =B button
Normal Attack, Bullet, Technic =A button
Melee Weapon Skill, Tech Weapon Technic=B button
Lock-On Camera, Turn Page Left=X button
Change Weapon, Turn Page Right=Y button
Turn Page Left =L button
Turn Page Right=R button
First Person Camera On/Off=Z button
Main Menu Show/Hide, Movie Skip=Start button
Chat Log | Button=control pad
Camera Left/Right=C-stick
Camera Up/Down=C stick

Any tips would be appreciated

The error message says that you're using a duplicate button configuration, which the game will not allow. It looks like you'll have to switch either the confirm or attack function to another button that isn't used for any other functions.

One problem: Gamecube doesnt have enough buttons....

I was about to suggest using the Z button for something, but I must've just missed it before, as you'd already assigned it to another function. In that case, looks like you'll have to stick with using the keyboard until you can get a controller that has enough buttons.

Its very simple. You simply use the keyboard for functions that wont work by using a GC controller. I tested the GC controller out in the menu screens and the control stick, d-pad, A, and B buttons all did what they were supped to do. I hope to test out the rest of the controller functions by playing the game tommorow.
