leveling in PSU is apparently harder than in PSO so I'm not sure any one will reach lvl 20 before the beta ends

actually we can. The highest player on PSU was broadcast as Lv 12

I thought that durring the free trials a while back, all players started at lvl 15... I could be wrong though.

I saw someone at level 19 before it went down today, I think you'll be able to go over 20. If you can't then, you most likely will be able to later on in the beta.

Scott: You can't have Nanoblast already. Someone had said that Nanoblast & SUV wouldn't be available til you're 20.
David: The demo had chars at Lv15. That was just to give you some idea of what the game was like. I guess ST wanted to give players that had a chance to play a fair shot at fighting some of the monsters & bosses/mid-bosses. I tell ya, I was glad to be at 15. Surrounded by some of those guys made it a challenge...especially cause my NPCs weren't THAT helpful. More like walking Scape Dolls for me (especially freakin' Hyuga).

Ziro, if I owned the demo, I'd play it everyday! As been said, I went to a convention back in October & that's how I played. I can verify that there are midbosses as the 'boss' I fought in the Relics was a midboss. He was big, but, no way near a regular boss's size. Fighting him & his mini army was a challenge. However, they were no match for Ethan & his big ass sword! LOL
