Question about the setup of the actual game system...

I've been wondering and probably have not heard the news, or seen anyone say how it is....but.....how are servers setup? Are the main lobbies which hold 100 people, 3 floors, and shops and stuff and create parties the only towns in the game? I know there's one for each planet. But what I'm trying to say is. When you select a team or whatever, do you just teleport straight to battle? Or do you get to walk around as a team in the lobby and still see all the other 100 people, just only when you are on the actual fighting areas you can't see them?

o_O I know, my question will be hard to decipher, I'm not even sure of what I said. But I know someone will know what I'm thinking. I'm just bad at explaining or asking complicated questions. o_O

From what I've gathered you create you're party in the lobby and can go freely around the lobby until you decide to go do a quest, whereupon you all assemble at the quest counter, then while you are on the quest you can only see you're party

i'm assuming that you are asking if you still walk around a public lobby after selecting a team or if you are immeadiately teleported into the battle area. i dont know the answer but i hope i cleared it up a bit (but i doubt it, im just as bad at explaining these things @_@)
