That was just Kef speculating on the possibility. There hasn't been any official mention of a US beta yet.

[Get Edit:] I've heard several rumors over the past day. I would take any rumors you hear with a grain of salt and remember, if there will be an open beta, SEGA will make a press release or news post about it.
