I believe this was discussed in another thread. Its only a client side hack though. Atleast Broomop hasn't done anything serverside yet, and PSU promises to be alot more serverside than PSO was.

Of course people are going to try and hack it. But one of the purposes of the beta would be to kill such problems and thus could end up for the better. Just don't panic over little stuff.

its not "hack" thats just a bypass for the non beta testers to see how character creation is like final the game crash once you try validating the character.

you can try it out and see how you're PSU character will look like..

Well, just in case, I didnt want to say any details about the cheat, but Nedeti did it for me =P. 100% harmless hack. Hell, I think I'd use it, if I wasnt in the Beta, you just get a peek at character creation.

We'll have to see how things develop, but even Broomop himself has said that this time, Sega has done a fine job (which wont stop him from trying to hack it, unfortunately).

We'll have to wait and see, but at least for now, PSU is cheat/hack free. Let us hope it remains that way.

Yes like nedeti said, you can plan your character out on it, but you can also see how well PSU will run on your pc.

But I think CC takes less cpue power than actual gameplay.

also, lol @ scott

Report it to sega then. That is the point of this beta. They need to know of these sites if only to have the ability to see the code that cracks theirs. If they see it then can make patches that address those cracks.

@Lostinseganet: that site has existed, hell, maybe since DC PSO Ver1. I dont know. But for a very long time. Sega knows about the site already, I'm sure of it.

I agree with the person who posted before me. I say if there is ANY problems, they should be reported so that it will br that much harder for anything to be exploited.

There are probaly many sites that talk about hacks perhaps 100s do you think sega knows them all? I do not think it is a good idea to assume that they know about a site with the vast space that is the internet. Don't guess tell them.

But I know of the site Scott was pointing to. I know it's been there for veeery long, for years. And if Sega didnt wipe the floor with it during the PSO BB Beta, I doubt they ever will.

The best thing Sega will reply to you is " Thank you for cooperating ". (O.o)

Sega love studying the bypass and making blocks to them since its already a way of reporting.
Sega them self will soon reply to this action but for now PSU is 100% safe and that is not a hack, my 6year old little sister would have found it.

his site is such an obvious URL anyways. Most people could guess it, or just google it

Since it seems likely that the URL I removed will end up being posted again, I am going to lock this topic.
