PSO:BB can't get past patch screen

when I installed BB and went to play it, turns out it will just sit at the patch screen doing nothing >_>

Is Windows Firewall on? Also alot of newer computers come with trial versions of Norton's or McAfees which also have firewalls. You may need to allow PSOBB access to the internet via one of them.

well I did set it to have BB as an exception, and it still didn't work so I tried just shutting it off all the way, and it still diudn't work http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I have no norton on the comp, only AVG

When I first loaded BB, I had to wait a while at the patch screen, it took a while to download the patches. If you've been waiting, and it still doesn't move, maybe you want to reinstall BB.

well it's not that the patches don't download... it's that they... don't even download >_>

the patches never even appear, it just sits at that screen with no bars for progress or anything http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

guess I will try a re-install though XD
