PSOBB: Population

I was thinking of possibly reactivating my PSOBB account (I still play GC quite often though). Yet I had two questions:

1. What's the population like on there nowadays?

2. Hacking/cheating a problem?
-If so, what forms of cheating?

3. I cancelled my account quite a few months ago, will my characters still be there or do they get deleted permanently after a certain period of time of inactive account status?

1. I heard that the online population is, well decreasing, but there's still enough people to lay

2. Hacking isn't as bad on BB as at was in GC

3. If it was a few months, then they probably got deleted, but you can always hope they're not

I think the population is fine. Cronus and Hyperion ships can be full at times. From what i've heard the hacking and junk has decreased. I'm not sure tho because i do most of my gaming with my team on a ship away from the busy ones.

I've seen a few new teams being created on the psobb boards, and they are actively recruiting, so i dont think it would be hard to get into a team, and meet a few people.
