It's PSU online. Only not everything is released yet because it's beta.

And closed is that not everyone can participate. Only a selected few can (like me ^o^)

'Closed' means not open to everyone, only certain people are in it. 'Closed beta' sounds oxymoronic, but hey.. ;]

Leaked/hacked versions are out there, but you aren't playing/testing the real thing.

If you were able to download the game somehow, you wouldn't be able to do anything but install it...

However, you can get as far as the character creation(though I won't say how)... But you can't actually play the game unless you were selected for the beta at the moment...

You travel in time back to any day between April 4th and April 17th, 2006, create a japanese Sega Link Account, and apply to it.

Considering that time travelling is not possible, you cant. The beta application period ended April 17th.
