What is that little flap of skin on the underside of your tounge?

'Cuz as far as i know it serves no purpose.

Mine was cut, cause it was too short and it was stopping me from using my tounge properly.
I think its there to stop your tounge from flapping about.
Your tonge is ALWAYS moving, it never stops, and its a lot big and longer than most people think.
Eh, thats just my guess.
I bet Sord has some logical explaination for it. Too bad I SUV'd him when he tried to logic me.
