what possible emote can the discko do?
the wacko is for being wacky, the disapprove is for disapproving, but the discko... it can neither disk, or scko, or even disco. It leads a painful existance in a world in between, where it knows not of it's purpose.

what will the discko do?

The Discko is irony embodied. It's that rare moment when you feel disapproving of the action yet silly for doing it.

The wacko has long since stopped being wacky and its very much overused.
Disapproving, well...everyone disapproves in at least one thread, so no one really cares about the disapprove anymore.
The wacko though, its new, and it catches people's attention, and it can be used to do such a thing. Not only that, but since it bears the expressions of both the wacko and disapprove, it can be used for both purposes.
The discko was also created as a random idea, and it can be used to fuel random ideas, to designate random ideas, and be used in random ideas.
And just like the wacko, the discko can be modded to do different things.
Its very versatile.

It's simple. The Discko lives a confusing life. Like Skuda said, stuck in the inbetween world. He tries fitting in, but the other smileys see no use for him. Made fun of in school, the discko suffered a painful transition of losing both of his parents. The discko was considered a sin against god by the wacko. The disapprove just completely forgot about discko. Do you really want the discko to live on like this? All tore up inside, trying to live with the fact that he'll never fit in with the others. Sure, he has a war being fought over him, but we all know who's going to win....
Obviously, the Koopa Party is going to pop up with their friggin nuclear weapons they've been building in secret and shoot them at both parties, thus causing us to launch our WMDs, causing a huge nuclear winter all over a smiley.

Do you really want to experience all of this over a discko?

Keep in mind that there are LOTS to diferent wackos and disapproves, and only 2 Disckos. Versatility is my point of attack.

All it takes is for more people to support the Discko and we could have just as many as wackos do.
Not only that, but the Discko has only just appeared.
Just like a new form of art, it doesn't evolve right away. It takes time.
Like...lets say rock.
When rock first began, it was just rock.
Now you have punk, heavy metal, easy, so on and so forth.
The discko will evolve just like rock and others have.

I for one am not opposed, honestly. To any of the smilies. It is the ridiculous amount in which they are posted that irritates me. Destroying them solves the problem.

I will note however, that since this 'war' has begun, use of said smileys has dropped. :3

Exactly. Me and what, one or two other people? Nearly EVERYBODY is constantly spamming the wacko/disapprove. It was alright when Tact and Uncle spammed Wacko, or maybe even that Sef cat. But it's really out of line now.

Especially with this Discko. It isn't even funny-looking like the wacko is. :|
