Human, so I wont be gimped in anything, Id like to be able to switch between jobs.

All I have to say is WOW! Right now, it's at about 50% Casts. A few months ago, 3/4 of the votes were either human or numan. Casts and even moreso with beasts seemed like they would be a true majority. I'm going to make a Cast ranger, and a beast Force (going to try my best to be a hybrid/support force). But so far, ranger has been way funner than my beast hunter. I've only goofed around with Force, so I dont really know how I'll like them, so my vote for now goes to Cast, since I've been liking ranger the most so far.

No matter who you are, you can switch jobs...just not on the fly...

You misunderstood obviously.

I mean by being balanced so I can play any job perfectly well and not be gimped in it. I dont think youll see many beast Rangers or Cast Forces, for example.


Added: Eh actually, let me rethink that, yea for starwar fans hehe...beast ranger.....yeeea I think it will be like that....hehehe.....

Hmm... Here I was expecting to see #1-human, #2-newman, #3-cast, #4-beast... Definitely wouldn't think cast would lead with almost 50% o.O

Erm yeah, might as well poke my head in and make my debut somewhere rather than condemn myself to skulk about in the shadows eternally.

Through watching the various char' create videos to be found here I won't be disappointed when it comes to creating my main character. Good ol' Katt... she was always intended to be modeled off 'Rinpoo Chuan' - or Katt in ze English if you want - of Breath of Fire 2 and it seems in PSU I'll be able to make her exactly like Rinny in every way. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I find that I cannot maintain more than two characters effectively so my next choice is... *clunk, clunk, clunk.* Cast!

(I am so lovin' the customization options for Casts, I was originally going for a more 'raw' look but after seeing some of the 'flesh-faces' I'm having second thoughts.)

Beast first- looking at pictures, I can almost identically recreate Uriko o_O
Cast 2nd- I want him to look robotic, not the fleshie ones.
Newman 3rd- Not too interested in Newmans, but I'll likely make one eventually.

I'm going to have three characters, two of them human. Its weird... I always seem to choose humans in games like this. I think its because humans are usually balanced and I like being able to adapt to a variety of situations.

I'm a nei fanboy, so I think I'm going female newman hunter. Before going online, I'll have to check out the different races and see if there's any reason not to go this route. The other races do have some apeal to me, so I won't mind changing my mind if there's a reason to.
