Does anyone know if the seasons or the amount of light (day and night) change in PSU? Is it just me, or do you think games that do that are cool?

PSO had specific weather for different areas.

I really don't care one way or the other. They aren't trying to create a persistant world, so it won't really add to the game much.

Weather changes would be awesome in a way but could get annoying after awhile.

Are there day to night transitions as well?

I think Day-Night and weather changes would be great, whether or not certain mobs come out during the night or day etc.

Lets not forget the online game may be on international servers.

I'm based in the U.K. so when it's my night time its usually daytime in the states. So how would that work?

Weather and lighting conditions do not change dynamically within an area. However, they do change from area to area.

I think it would be cool if it randomly rained/snowed/etc in cities and outdoor areas sometimes. But it should be a small effect and make no other changes.

Well I play a MMO called Flyff, and there it cycles day to night just once every half-hour or so, never actually timed it, anyway it doesn't have to be a realistic length, like maybe one cycle every two hours or so, something like that would be nice, but unnecessary. I really wouldn't care much.

well think about how much lag that would cause. If one moment its sunny, then it starts to rain in the next area...
