I just realized there are MANY MANY similarities between the Metal Gear Saga and the Star Wars saga.
Check it out.
- The Original Metal Gear stars Snake, who is sent on a mission to destory some evil organization and some big giant robot who was built by a buy named Big Boss. Snake later finds out that Big Boss is his father and Snake kills Big Boss.
- Luke Skywalker goes on a quest to destroy the evil empire and a big giant starship built by Darth Vader. Luke later finds out that Darth Vader is his father and kills him.
- Later a prequel to Metal Gear is made starring a younger Big Boss before he actually became. Big Boss is sent on a mission to destory another evil organization and a giant robot. His mentor becomes evil, they fight, Big Boss kills his mentor. Later Boss starts an evil organization.
- A prequel was also made to star wars, starring a younger Darth Vader before he actually became Darth Vader. young darth is sent on a mission to destory some evil organization, they fight robots along the way. Young Darth becomes evil, gets maimed by his mentor, and starts an evil organization.
