I wonder if the site mods would make FKL memorabilia, such as Wacko pins or Antennae toppers, and shirts of that nature, how many people would buy them?

they wouldn't. this site plus their current lives makes them busy enough as it is. though i have been tempted to make my own, I might be making t-shirts during the summer for a job. *shrug*

Even if we wanted to sell FKL merchandise, Gamespy rules prevent us from selling it directly.

I would have to look into that scenario. It would probably be ok if people did their "trading" in private.

Just keep in mind that the site wouldn't be allowed to give its official support to any such endeavor.
