Alright, here it is. The official Nomination thread, backed by both by mod Ketchup and previous dictator Scrub.

Rules are as follows:

-Nominations are posted openly as is the usual tradition
-Anyone can be nominated, but they can not be nominated by themselves
-each member only gets one (1) nomination submission
-the Nominations will run until the end of Tuesday, May 16
-The top five (5) most nominated members will run for president. In the event of a tie for the remaining final place(s), whoever was nominated first will earn the right to run for President

Now let the platforms be built and the propaganda fly!

There would be free control to create smilies. They may be posted at long as their user likes as is a members right, but any attempt to start a war to make it a permanent smiley would be squashed.

I have a plan to stabalize the border, by creating "tactical crossings" that will put money in the FKL coffers (thereby raising @ paycheck of FKL residents per week) while actually making the immigrant smuggling process legal.


Many of you have been told that I am to serious. While yes, I am serious at times, that doesn't mean I can't be wacko either. Afterall, just the other day I joked about Super Hobo taking over a run down bank. I have contributed to getting my own ass killed in the FKL comic, and I have spiked my hair 4-5 inches high and posted the picture for all to joke.

So while I may not be the most off the wall person, I can act acordingly to each situation as is fit should there be good reason to do so.

The others have promised "change," but they have yet to even state what they are going to do, merely coming up with petty pictures. Do you really just want to look pretty, or would you rather look smart and pretty?

heh, I was going to have you post your votes. Sure it wouldn't be anonymous, but it would solve someone being around at endtime, anyone could host and run without fear of cheating. If I'm elected I will elect a counsil of advisors that will also help me govern FKL.
These advisors will be people who represent all walks of like in FKL.
That way all decisions will be made by a variety of folks, and not just on person.

If I'm elected, I will settle any and all disputes amongst peoples and/or groups amongst FKL.

If I'm elected, I will hold monthly polls/threads asking the people what they want from me and my counsil. And we will do as much as we can each month to carry out these wishes.

If I'm elected I will also set up serious RP threads. These threads will also be in any time period desired, and will be overlooked by me and my counsil.

If I'm elected I will try as hard as possible to bring as many creative minds as possible to FKL, to spice things up a bit.

If I'm elected all smileys will live peacefully in FKL, but thier use will be limited, to avoid them getting annoying. Any body who overuses these smileys will face certain punishments, which will be discussed by my counsil and voted upon by the peoples.

If I'm elected I will make @ actually have value, for it will be used in the RP threads, and won by various means, which will be discussed by my counsil and voted on by the peoples.
