Melee?

There are knuckles, you can see them in some of the user made videos. I just wanted to pummel something with my bare FOnewm hands.

Ya that really sucks. So much for doing things bare knuckle style. Closest thing one could do is use a knuckle weapon.

Spinning kicks aren't that hard to do after some practice. It's knowing when to use them in a fight that's tough. I prefer my quick roundhouses, thank you very much.

If you unequip all your weapons you can do emotes on the battlefield though.

EDIT: And one of the emotes is a kick... it doesn't deal damage though. But you can try anyways.

It was odd in BB, though, because of the weapon's placement, you would end up otherwise slicing yourself in half with your partisan when you tried to wave.

I wonder if the Fist weapons' Photon Arts will look like? Might do 10 hit combo's, or a Hadou Ken, or a Kamehameha Wave maybe. Or how about the Wolf Fang Fist?

I've seen one in the vids where the photon knuckles fly off and fly 360 degrees around your body and return to you.

I wouldn't relate that photon art to a missle launcher. I think that 360 gloves attack is like an extension of your fist power.

You know like how Kenshiro in Fist of the North Star waves his hands and everyone around him explodes.

Besides didn't they say our Photon Arts might evolve as you improve with them?

Well we've already also seen the basic fist photon art from the beta aswell. It's basically a one-two punch dashing forward in two short bursts with some flashy lights.

Does anyone wonder how this might effect BA?
As in PvP Battle Mode...hand to hand combat ALWAYS showed up in the rules somewhere when you were doing it. It was an essential part of fighting on a rule. If you wepdropped, you lost the wep. So you unequip when you're on low health and try kicking them for chipping damage. But now...what're they gonna do?

Yea a FOne kicking a melqueek in the knee was pretty useless, but they're going to have to invent something if they want to bring BA back.

Melee weapons by default don't drain PP. Only skill-based photon arts do. Guns on the other hand, are always using PP, but since we're talking about melee, it doesn't apply.

Ok last post 'fore i go BoBo's How do you chose what photon art to perform? Or is it fix a PA to the weapon and just combo it?

Link one photon art to a weapon. Of course in beta, we had only one, so the decision wasn't hard to make. But in the full version there will be several to choose form. People will probably have several versions of the same weapon just for different skill PAs.
