No way, it was text superimposed onto the background, in the same color as the background for about 1.25 seconds.

I can't even get any mugen characters to work... I had to use WinMugen to even get the game to work, so I assume there is something in the format of some of the character files... oh well http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
