well I was surprised to see no Human fan topics like they have done for Beasts, Newmans/Numans, and Casts.

so I feel Humans deserve as much praise because they are pure and don't have goat ears, or beasty lips, or clunky metal all over them. (don't worry Newmies, Casties and Beasties! We still wuv you!) http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

The other races say Humans are inferior here and there, but if it wasn't for Humans, there wouldn't be Newmans, Casts or Beasts in the first place! Plus being balanced is a strength in itself. So we may not have colossal SUV weapons or flashy NanoBlasts or ears that can hear a pin drop a mile away, but we fit in very nicely in any class and can slay as many a monster as well as anyone else can. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif



So anyone planning on playing as a Human?

Ya. Melee combat is definitely exciting and intensifies the danger of being on the front lines.

I plan on melee. I don't mind the other races referring to humans as inferior/"the basic race". It just gives me more motivation to play as a human this time (it seems that we are seen as the weaklings more intensely this time around).

ya the inferiority subject is really what I've read on the offline Story. that's how the story's races view each other but online community wise, I feel the races will be more friendly of course (not counting the clans that isolate themselves)

online people will definitely treat each other as equals regardless of race, so any differences really won't have an impact on forming a party, everyone will get along just fine. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Human for me, people may think humans to be a gimped race, I dont think they are, people just tend to rely on stats more then skill, ill be sure to prove it by being more skilled then any non human hunter I come across. Skill> stats, sides, humans may get some change or new addition in release.

I plan on being a human as well. I like being able to do everything relatively well, and while I'll mainly be melee I want the ability to be able to do ranged combat and toss out a tech every now and then.

My main PSU avatar-character will be "human" (as in PSO) , as always I will kick but with swords, daggers,claws,and the double-swords.

All i'll need to do is find somekind of equipable item that will boost the speed of his attacks, I like fast hitting attacks with decent to above average damage.

Y'know, I think there's actually a good plot reason for that as well. Online, I'm pretty sure that every character will be assumed to be a member of the Guardians, whose purpose is to act as a neutral peacekeeping force. I would think that the type of person most likely to register with the Guardians would be the more even-minded sort.

Sadly, I won't be using a Human for my main character, but I do intend to have one (a Hunter). Is it just me, or does it seem like the majority of Humans are becoming Hunters at this point?

If I'm not a Hunter, I don't think I'll know what to do with myself. Low HP makes me feel weak and vulnerable, not matter what kind of damage I do. And I've never been a fan of guns, although there's just times when you have to use 'em.

Well not most Humans will be Hunters. Hunters are naturally the most popular in all online RPGs.

They see and feel the most action and danger, plus they often do more damage and last longer than other classes.

so it's not a race sort of thing.

My main character will be Human but I'm also interesting in making a Cast Hunter, a Beast Force and a Newman Ranger.
