will phantasy star universe have multiple servers? or one big server and instance/room based games for grouping/trading and socializing.

multiple servers. not sure if they hold 500 or 1000 ppl max tho.

alright. so with that little of people on a server. what happens if the majority of the people quit it.

This isn't like many other online games where you're constrained to one server. If I understand correctly, you can travel freely between servers like we could in PSO.

Each server has a complete set of planets and according to Takao Miyoshi, can hold 1,000 people. You will be able to travel between servers without any problems.

ya they do have those cube things in the cities to travel between servers.

I believe it is 1000 people per city.
