Karen and Mirei = Nei and Neifirst?

And thought maybe Karen and Mirei were once the same. Much like Nei and Neifirst were once the same. That would explain why Karen cant use techniques(Mirei has her techniques) and why Karen passes out at the same time as Mirei. In PSII Nei dies when she kills Neifirst because they cant live without eachother.

I think Karen's inability to fight has more to do with her past than it does with whatever's going down with Mirei. Interesting, nevertheless.

Well, that's a very interesting parallel. The only thing .. is that Nei split from Neifirst becuase she couldn't stand the violent hatred that Neifirst regarded humanity with (for creating her then treating her as a monster) - so she broke free. I don't know how they (Karen/Mirei) would have split... perse.. but they could have just been created that way. Its sort of wierd that I was noticing Karen has purple hair and blue eyes and Mirei has blue hair and purple eyes. That doesn't have anything to do with it but I thought it was interesting, lol. But yeah, I definately could see it as something like that. Good observation

I have a feeling that Karen is going to die somewhere in the offline story because she also is similar to Alys from PSIV because she is Ethan's trainer and most people here knows that Alys and Nei dies as a story event.

Yea, I also hypothesized after watching that video that the two were connected somehow... But I was somewhat discredited, due to a story piece I missed that was supposedly revealled in Famitsu that stated Karen is just afraid of those creatures because she watched them attack her parents or something... However... I still believe there will be some sort of link between them...

but if the offline story ends up being a tragedy, that would be quite sad. or maybe it's be like PS1 where none of the main heroes get killed off.
