Well, for a moment, I thought the game was never going to come out lol. It got delayed 1 year so far. Now that I've seen the character video I know it's nearly finished. SEGA surpassed themselves with scenes, equal, if not betr, than kingdom hearts 2.
Just hope we can get it for Fall 2006, not later

^ Dude, are you kidding? Final Fantasy is still widely held as the nerdiest mainstream game seires of all time. If anything, it's the other way around. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

I've been checking out the new videos for Story Mode, and I keep thinking to myself...

"Why oh why is SEGA making me wait!?"

But then again, the longer you wait, the better it'll be. Am I right? No, not really. Cause we Aussie's always have to be last in line.

yeah, if it does come out in the US in Fall, we still have 4 months to go through T.T

By then everyone will be mainly focus on the online game than the offline. Since it will not have multiplayer offline (Why no offline multiplay?), I guess its better to play it offline to figure out the story then jump online. Whats you guys & gals thoughts?

offline then on, Fall release is a MINIMUM of 4 months btw

if you plan on going full-time online, you might as well do the offline first and get it over with. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

That way you have solid knowledge of the background of the solar system and characters and events, since the online campaign takes place AFTER the offline story. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

so ya I'm doing offline first. It should take me no more than a week to complete it anyway. I complete most RPGs in like 2-3 days. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/burger.gif

the producer guy who was interviewed is right, I can imagine the online experience feeling 100 times better if you complete the offline story first. It makes sense. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Same here. At least you will have a great feel on how the game works. Please start us off with some items first before we get our selfs killed. LOL.

I agree with you guys. Plus it's like...Wow, so this is the world that Ethan and his crew let live. I can see why.

Then ya go ape-shits and destroy everything

I hope most of the players decide to complete the offline portion before starting online, it would suck to have a huge wave of players that decided to jump the gun at the launch and act like they are the bee's knees because they decided to forgo the preliminary story...

Wow...
It's weird.
Weird to think that already 5 months have gone by as quick as they did, don't you think? I mean, the first thing I remember PSO-World talked about when I first came here was the fact that PSU was being delayed. Now, some of us have played the game already, we've learned alot more about the game, and we can't wait for the fall release.

To think that only a few months ago we were stressing the mysterious 2006 release date for Japan, O_O.

hahah bee's knee's! I havnt heard that in ages. How old are you man? My grandfather barely uses that.

Everytime i hear it...i seem to envision a bee with incredible large humanoid legs with authritus (spelling is off as usual)...

I think I'll play Offline first, just to get a feel of the controls. Clear a chapter or 2, then make my guy.

Saner
May 30, 2006, 03:52 PM
well some are still going to be stubborn to just use offline to warm up for just online play.

Maybe they are missing the point of the offline experience and story, which is the foundation of online's campaign, but oh well, whatever floats their boat. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

ya many fear 'falling behind', so they rather skip the story to be ahead of everyone else online.

It's always like that in games, some people want to be the top dog, the big cheese, the head honcho, the numero uno watermelon, etc. etc.

but it doesn't matter, at least we know that it isn't about being higher level than anyone else and getting the best rares online before anyone else.

Without fully experiencing the history and turning point of PSU's solar system, online is just an empty circle of bragging rights.
