hey just a quick question about the psu testers

Hey i know this is a dum question but did the beta players get chosen to play the game or did they simply download it from a site and they just play it now to test it?

They were chosen to play a limited version of the online game to test it.

Yea, I guess you can say they were "chosen".

Basically you had to register a Sega Link account and sign up for the beta before it officially started-Then Sega sent a limited supply of e-mails to randomly selected people who had registered for the Beta, giving them their beta account information so that they could download and play/test the beta version of the game...

No. The red box contest was a PSO-World sponsored event... It had nothing to do with Sega-And Sega had everything to do with choosing who got into the beta...

I believe the prize for that event was a final retail version of PSU-courtesy of PSOW...
