Nope, that's just their guess. I believe all that we know is 'Fall 06' for the US.

I think when you're inline buying a Wii,Zelda:TP, or the PS3 is when PSU will be on the shelf already or nearing to be on the shelf.

NO! Step away from WoW and come back to the light! WoW held me in its evil clutches for months and months, but I broke free and so can you!

Maybe it's just me but WoW wasn't impressive at all. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

True, but popularity does not a great game make. WoW has abysmal customer service (although to be fair, most MMO comunities claim to get the worst customer service), the combat is really pretty boring if you pay attention, and I dislike the direction they're going with their lore. Oh, not to mention the only thing to do after reaching the level cap (which takes hardly any time at all, really) are the raids, which are fun at first... until you realize you rather dislike a lot of the people you go on the raids with, and that after the novelty wears off, a lot of the raid encounters are actually more boring than soloing. Only reason I stayed so long was because of a couple friends I made... but then it was really only one friend, and they're on a lot more, so that friend makes other friends, you don't hang out so much anymore... you know how it goes.

Without anyone to play with, WoW is really pretty painfully boring.

... What was this thread supposed to be about again? >.>

I would say.. that's about right. October-something or other. Since Japan supposedly is recieving it at the end of August, the time gap is about right (Although it seems like things used to generally take about 3 months time to get here, but). I wouldn't be suprised if either of these dates were pushed back though - and if the Japanese one were that would mean the english one will be even moreso.

Halo 2 broke sales records, yet it's a pretty mediocre game. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

That's what Gamestop and nem's release date says too. I'm hoping that's right. For your sake. And mine.

In your opinion. While Halo-bashing is the new fad, I for one think the games are just plain amazing, and played the crap out of them. Unfortunately, having to deal with the headset-wearing morons and little kids who infest the online multiplayer was more headache than it was worth, fun as it was.

It's not a fad. Some people actually don't like them. I thought they were abysmally poor.

Actually we get told by the publisher. I don't know who is publishing PSU...is it Sega or an outside company? Anyway at EB games the publisher tells us the release date so we can get reserves ready.

Well the interview said 3 months gap b/w Japanese and U.S. versions.
Japanese version is going to be released on August 31 so I doubt SoA will release it on 10/24/06.
Expect to get it no earlier than 11/31/06.
Sort of 'prepare for the worst, hope for the best' type of thing.
People, did you learn nothign from previous releases of PSO?
