About Cut in Chat

hey I was wondering

is cut in chat only viewable by party members or does everyone see it when they are within a certain distance (like text bubbles)?

I would think it might be a party-exclusive feature, so people can't abuse it in the cities. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

there was screenshots demonstrating how you can customize it and choose the mood and the angle of the character's portrait. and the mood affects the special effects in the background.

but the smiley symbol things in PSO were public viewable. so maybe cut in chat is viewable by all anyway?

and how many cut-in-chats can appear at once? so far we have seen 2 appear at once when used.

there are movies showing the usage of cut in chat somewhere in the movie thread.

just like text, anyone in the area can see em. you cant see someone's cut in chat if they are outta range, even if you are in the same party.

and 2 is the limit on how many cut in chats can be on your screen at once. i tested this w/ some friends. we tried to do 4 cut in chats at the same time, and only 2 showed up.

Remember the beta had a few restrictions though.... like the screen res was quite low o.o so maybe more can show in the final doubt it though

so you can bind a pre-set sentence with the cut in chat huh?

that be good to have if its true. i have a feeling cerrtain ones will be spammed though. for example when forces cast resta,shifta,or deband. theres always gonna be soem cut in to show it

Its possible they add an option to filter out everyone else's cut-in-chat on yoru screen.

I just hate the size of it. Couldn't 1 or 2 on screen cover up something important in the heat of battle? I'd like it if it's possible to make them transparent so you can see incoming fire or whatever. I also wanted the symbol chat in PSO in addition to this face expression chat. With symbol chat, you can convey all kinds of quick universal codes and battle hints and not just your facial moods. (remember c-mode possition map hints for example?).
But yes, it can easily be abused as well with obsenities.

Ah well, if that many cut-ins were allowed at any one time in that sort of Voltron-esque presentation I'd be falling out of my chair every time I saw that happening.

LOLOLOLROTFLMAO. wow but yea i can quickly see cut-in-chat battles where one puts theirs up, then another person does the same and theirs chat takes the place of the previous person. then they go back and forth just do they can get theirs to show over the other 1 -_-.
