Can anyone explain exactly how this is set up?, it sounds pretty involved/confusing

It's pretty easy from what I've heard. I don't know the particulars though.

I was under the impression that you plugged in two controllers, two memory cards and there you go.

i read somthing on here about loading a character and making it a "primary" character or sumthing and have to change this, that and the other

I think it is a turn-based loading system.

1st Player loads then 2nd Player, then 3rd, and 4th

As a rule, all of the characters have to be on the first memory card in slot A.
So, if you have friends with multiple memory cards, they have to put their card into slot B, and then send the character to the card in slot A....

When you're done playing, you save and exit. Then, you go to the character selection screen, select your character in slot A and insert its original memory card into slot B to be sent back =>_>=;;;;

Bah..hopefully It'll be easier then you make it sound.

Also, if one person dies then you both head on back to Pioneer. Because ST said that thye did that to keep graphics running smoother, I wonder if you have to go down telepipes together and forest to forest 2 warp together.

What if you have all of your chars on one memory card? Can you still play offline multi with both of your chars?

How many characters can you fit on a regular GameCube memory card. I only have one, buying another one isn't a big deal but if I need 2 cards for 2 characters Ill have to get a new one.

I have been wondering if it's possible to split the split screen on to 2 diffrent tv's instead of 1?

I don't know about that. I've played timesplitters 2 with co-op 2 player and both of us loaded our characters at the same time on one memory card

Nope. =

It's a feature for the new releases.
