Nanoblasts - Badges

I was reading in the other topic about the Nanoblasts, all of them having different, "Badges," and the colours giving different stats. Do the tatoos themselves look any different? I have an idea of what I'd like my beasts to use (Online beast, Purple, offline, yellow), but I'm still curious, since the only tatoo that was shown was the one that made the blue one.

Also, due to the limited amount of Nanoblasts/SUV weapons, does anyone think they'll make new ones for the final game? Like, different animals for nanoblasts (Deadly Dolphin XD) and different SUV weapons (Big Sword? Big Launcher?).

Yeah, each blast badge has a different design. I'll have to hunt down the pics, but they were re-posted pretty recently, so it shouldn't take long to find.

have you not seen the melee SUV in one of the recent videos? i'd say its a given there will be more

I looked & I don't see any different color tattoos in those pictures. Am I missing something? Also, do these 'different colors' affect how your Nanoblast form will look or perhaps the type of ability you'll have once you Nanoblast?

i think its posted somewhere can't remember were but yes each badge or tatoo has a special effect during nanoblast

Odin the different colors are only when you transform and you'll have different colored fur.
And I think the different tatoos affect your Nanoblast's stats and possibly the abilities.

yeah i think the red nanoblast has invincibility and all the other colored nanoblast just raise one stat really high

OK, so let me get this straight. The color of the tattoo determines the color of your fur? YAY! So, I can get the blue fur I want by choosing a blue tattoo then? Also, if color determines an improved stat, that would be interesting. Oh also, can the color of the tattoo & it's style be independently chosen or are the colors locked to a particular style?

Red is attack, purple is defense and gold/yellow bolsters evasion and accuracy - if I read correctly.

I think all the colours have the same 'abilities' from what I've seen, it's just the stat assignments that differ.

As for appearance... well, they don't vary all that much... I think from the screenshots I can see that the tatoo you wear also gets represented as the markings on the beast form. It's been speculated that your hairdo might affect your mane slightly also as was vaguely seen when comparing some screenshots of a femme beast's 'blast. (Will fish it out in just a sec' so you can see for yourself.)

Nope, it's fixed from the looks of things I'm afraid. So blue = always invincibility. Whether or not that gets changed before the game goes live remains to be seen, though I doubt it.

Lmao you bet I do, even if I put a game down for 5 days I forget. But it's not just restricted to different games either heh, in EQII I have two 'core' characters; a Coercer - a caster - and a Swashbuckler - a scout. For the sake of reference, here are my translations of the blast badge descriptions I posted in that other thread about nanoblast stats.


1/5 - Vunde Val (blue)
"Invincibility" blast badge. When a beast unleashes this nanoblast, enemy attacks are nullified. Putting a large burden on the body, this nanoblast's duration is short.

A blast badge can only be used by beasts who are lv.20 or above.

2/5 - Adaka Val (red)
"Attack" blast badge. Leaning toward their ferocious basic instincts, beasts who use this nanoblast will pulverize their enemies with the crushing attack power of their fists.

A blast badge can only be used by beasts who are lv.20 or above.

3/5 - Boguo Val (purple)
"Defense" blast badge. With uncanny defense, this nanoblast allows a beast to attack without interruption while taking little damage even when there are no intervals between an enemy's attacks.

A blast badge can only be used by beasts who are lv.20 or above.

4/5 - Zuid Val (yellow)
"Speed" blast badge. This nanoblast dramatically increases a beast's reaction time, making it possible for all of their attacks to hit. They can also evade enemy attacks better.

A blast badge can only be used by beasts who are lv.20 or above.

5/5 - No Blast Badge

A blast badge can only be used by beasts who are lv.20 or above.

i really hope they come out with more Blast Badges, say for those beasts at higher levels. For instance, you could have 4 Blast Badges available at level 20, maybe 2 blast badges available at level 50, and 1 Blast Badge available at level 100 or so.

The higher level Blast Badges don't even have to be more powerful, but they will still be sought after because they will be more unique. I would love to see a Black or White Beast Transformation.

And yes Odin. I can remember one post some while ago stating that depending on your characters hair style, will effectc what the nanoblasts hair style will be in the outcome. I posted it on another website, but they deleted it, and I don't feel like searching for that pic. >.> sorry...

Umm....pardon me for a sec but.....the person using that SUV doesn't look like a cast.....I can so NO destinguishing features that show it is a cast....

BUT!!!! I did notice something. Observe the object that we called the Melee SUV. Does it remind anyone of this:

If you look close enough you'll see that it's a female cast that's using what looks like the default look for them. I could make a picture for reference really quick if needed.

The character using the melee SUV is quite clearly a female cast. She has the humanoid face and skin-tone on the legs, but she's definitely a cast. Watch the actual video, it's easier to see, those pictures are kinda washed out.

And yeah, it does look like a really big PM with arms. o_0

Hmm...*continues staring*....ugh...oh well, I STILL can't see the cast but so be it, at least ya see the resemblence with the PM.

But I'm fully serious with the PM part. Look at where the shoulders would be on both the PM and the SUV, see the glowing parts? In almost the exact same part. Not only that, but they just look really frickin similiar.

If one could switch, you could try out all the various colors & find one to suit how you're raising your char. I'd be willing to pay meseta to buy extra ones (if that were required) so Id have this option. i really doubt it is a PM. my guess is that it is the SUV available to the Casts who are Hunters. i wonder if the Casts that are forces get any special SUV weapon.

Also, right before this cast attacks with this weapon, it appears over her head in the exact way that all other SUV-weapons do: the nanotrance effect. (You only get to see the last few seconds of it in the video, as she's already attacking with the weapon by the time the video cuts to her.)

Do anyone have a screen shot about the status of nanoblast or remember when used?
Although I know that there are invisible ,defend,evasion,attack to choose, I want to know how many % increase for that status. (e.g. Attack from may increase atp 50% from 400 to 600).

When a beast unleashes this nanoblast, enemy attacks are nullified; strength, defense, evasion abnd accuracy are trippled and when this nanoblast is unleached all enemies within range die a painful death. This nanoblast also has a roundhouse kick attack which can kill any monster with one hit. omg.
