Anyone Gonna Make Characters Based Off...

I'm not going to (I already have my 4 online and 1 extra mode characters planned), but I played around with the Character Creation for fun, attempting to make something that looks like me http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I mean, there's no way you could imitate my eyes or my hair perfectly, and anyone notice the unproportionalness of the hands on shorter characters? ANYWAYS http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Other than hand proportions (Or maybe I have small hands), I've created a very close look alike, and I thought it was fun and cool. So I did another!

So with the greater extent of customization on PSU, is anyone going to make themselves?

I kinda planned on it... but then again... If I only get four character slots... I don't wanna waste one on ... uh.... myself =p

I was actually able to make myself pretty accurately with the character create... I was quite pleased. FAR FAR FAR better than anything I could do on PSO.

I just came up with another thought

Maybe some people will make characters based off themselves, or, with the lots of people who tend to prefer female characters (And are guys themselves), maybe they'll make a female version of themselves? o:

lol If they made a program that is like the PSU char creation, i'd like to try and make myself there. Ya know, it sounds kinda cool making a char thats like yourself (unless you find yourself horribly boring looking).

It'd kinda fun to see myself getting blown on fire by dragons, or hacked with laser sickle handed fiends.

Plus when i kick ass, it'd be like a little me that just won. Just a fun thought, i may do it. Good idea =)

I tried making a character like myself-but none of the hairstyles really match mine enough to make me happy... (very short-but not dumb looking like the games buzz-cut style)

But I WAS able to make most of my friends pretty darn well... Which was more fun than making myself anyway...

I don't think the PSU character creation would be able to capture the sexiness that is me. I don't think theres facial hair in the character creation and my 'stach, beard, and soul patch and pretty defining features. I'm just gunna make a character that reflects my style and all that other good stuff.

Anyway there was a hacked exe. of the beta released on the net which allowed players access to the character create screen. (before you go on, It's against the forum rules to ask about how to aquire it, and really even talk about it, but this is just to inform you, so don't try asking about it.)

I always make a character based on myself in any game that I can make my own characters. Of course, my character in PSO is always in his Hyper form, so I look a tad bit different than I do in real life (in real life, I have short dark hair, but in PSO I had Super Sayan-type hair lol).

They have a female hairstyle almost like IDENTICAL to mine irl, but... it'd be impossible to imitate my hair.
I have bleached bangs in the front, and the rest of my hair is my actual hair color, brown.. Yeah, I don't think you can select to color certain parts of the hairstyle, so I wouldn't be able to make myself exactly... Eh, I'll try later anyway when the game is released, that is. xD

Well I usually think about making a "Me" character, but that's best saved for Tiger Woods PGA Tour. It's mainly due to the fact that I use my full name as well, and many of us don't reveal our personal information.

In the beta there's roughly 20ish different facial models, each with a different amount of toning, or wrinkles or facial hair. You can make ancient characters if you really wanted to.

Yeah, that was the problem I ran into. I was going to give my character a buzzcut like I've got, but the one in game looked silly with those designs etched into the back of it. As a result, I ended up going with the hairstyle I wanted to avoid -- the ponytail. There's nothing wrong with it, but I just wanted something different. For some reason, I just didn't think any of the other hairstyles looked that good on my character. Might have been because of the way his ears stuck out so far. XD
