Not sure if this topic's been brought up as of yet, but has anyone heard word of a possible X360 beta; closed or open.

i doubt it will happen, the Final Fantasy 11 beta looked like a unique situation. I hope so though, maybe since it "looks" like we are getting this game later, and because we might be unlinked maybe. I wish I knew more too.

Well they are having a beta for ps2, and they've had a beta for the pc, they will most likely have one for the 360 version also. Luckily I have a JP gamertag so if they make it a marketplace download I can get it.

I don't know, maybe in Japan as that is where most of the betas have been but I even doubt that for the 360 because that is where it failed horribly (even worse than the original Xbox). Would it even provide a good stress test in Japan?

I agree, if they do a 360 beta it will probably be in the U.S.. More people will be interested there. And a beta is a great way to promote it there.
Atleast that is what I would expect.

That's actually a pretty damn good idea. Considering that the 360 version might be releaesd later than the PS2 and PC versions anyways, it's probably good to start up a beta for it.

Yeah, it would help promote PSU a lot if they made a beta available on Xbox Live Marketplace. Having demos available on Marketplace has helped a lot of games gain popularity before release, such as Fight Night Round 3 which had its preorders go up by 5X in just a week.

I think it would be a wise decision to include 360 in the beta. X360 is lacking RPGs at the time (I'm not complaining, got Table Tennis and thats all I need. ) and PSU would be a nice alternative to players that don't have the time to put into Final Fantasy XI.

If they make a beta they are going to have to post pone the release date again so they can listen to what all the people have to say and make even more adjustments then they already have which there for means once again a nothere post pone release date.

*sigh~* That's not at all true. Just because they release a beta doesn't mean they have to postpone the release date.

well you know they are going to want to hear what we beta testers have to say. thats the whole reason why they make a beta. To see what we have to say. And then they are most likely going to make some changes cus of what we said.

well if they need to beta test for X360 server. I wouldn't mind if its before the PS2 U.S. release date.
