red cape and gunz own, been out in jp since january but comes out August 22 w007 only other FF game I'm gonna buy. I find their rpgs to be zZzZzZzZzZz the story, graphics, and some music are the only things near decent. I don't need hours of boring repetitive lv up in constant identicle battles with moves that were still used all away back on the first FF seperating me from those sequences, and Crystal Chronicles just plain sucks. Xenosaga is said to have lenghthy cinemas, next 8 bucks I get goes toward renting it. Xenogears was awesome to, but ironically not many seem to know about it or have played it even with the release of Xenosaga. Granted, it's probably hard to find a copy nowadays. I think Dizzy has one, my friend has one (which i borrowed a really long time ago) and that's all I've seen of it.

I've got Xenogears, before they rereleased the thing due to demand, BAM.

Got to the last dungeon and got peeved at some random battles sending me back to save points an hour away, and put it down.

I just beat Xenogears for the 3rd time recently! That last dungeon is a bitch, but if you stick with it there is a gear in there somewhere that will repair you. And Deus (the last boss) is e-z. I owned him with Xenogear in Hyper Mode.

Its nothing special. Its dated and the english dubbing isn't even lip-snyched with the characters so it has this whole cheap old school vibe going for it.

I noticed that from the very first one where the girl finds you in the forest pointing her space gun at you.

Blegh.

So that stays consistent, and at least the battle system doesn't bore you to death. Pretty fun combo systems and being caught out of the mechs was a crazy dash to select the thing from your menu or be killed in one hit. >_<

I just wish upgrading parts was easier to understand.

Get a PSX emulator and torrent it. Thats what I do for my old hard-to-find classic PS1 games. Why you think I made that thread in off-topic?
